Job Title: Specialist, Training III - Small Arms Instructor (ST3)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Specialist, Training III - Small Arms Instructor (ST3) to join our team in support of the Weapon Systems Training Branch (JXNQ) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small arms weapon systems and training development. Candidate will provide services at OCONUS locations in support of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide weapon system inspection, maintenance, documentation, and repair in accordance with USSOCOM Technical Manual specifications.
• Provide SOF-p weapon systems NET, maintenance, and refresher training to military and civilian personnel at OCONUS locations in support of USSOCOM
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to document operation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Develop and deliver New Equipment Training (NET), maintenance training, and refresher training to military and civilian personnel.
• Provide logistics documentation and support for training curriculum updates.
• Ensure all training materials and documentation are accurate and up to date.
• Manage small arms, repair parts, tools, and accessories inventory while maintaining accountability for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and updating logistics records.
• Provide training curriculum updates, logistics documentation, and report generation support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum two to three years Instructor experience within the last five years.
• MIL Instructor Certification required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Small Arms Weapons experience/proficiency required.
• Secret clearance required.
