Overview

In this role, you will oversee key IT business functions and financial activities such as contracting, budgeting, forecasting, and tracking actual expenditures. You will drive process improvements, enhance financial transparency, and ensure compliance with Haskell and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:

    Manage and forecast IT budgets, monitor expenses, invoices, and payments to ensure adherence to allocated budgets
  • Analyze budget utilization, historical spending trends and current expenditures to optimize IT budget allocation and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborate with team members to reconcile budget discrepancies, generate metric and KPI reports, and communicate budget status to support IT leadership
  • Drive contract renewal negotiations with vendors, manage multiple contracts concurrently, and track renewal dates, invoice frequency, and costs for licenses, subscriptions, and contracts
  • Identify areas for efficiency in the IT Finance function while collaborating with IT leaders to align IT financial operations
  • Review and optimize budget monitoring, renewal management and software procurement processes to improve financial and contract management efficiency
  • Implement best practices to streamline workflows and improve both financial management and contract management efficiency

Education & Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and two to five years of proven experience in IT budget monitoring, financial analysis, and contract management or equivalent combination of education & work experience

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
