Inova Fairfax Medical Campus Behavioral Health Department is seeking a Regulatory Improvement Consultant to join the team. This position full-time (40 hrs/week). Hybrid daytime hours M-F. Regulatory Improvement Consultant Job Responsibilities:



  • The Regulatory Improvement Consultant leads, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates regulatory readiness and drives and sustains improvements.
  • Leads strategic initiatives and operational priorities and identities, analyzes and manages regulatory compliance risks.
  • Guides onsite survey and complaint response coordination and follow-up activities.
  • Guides and facilitates senior leaders, medical staff, clinical leaders and other key stakeholders to identify, analyze and resolve complex regulatory compliance issues.
  • May perform other projects and duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience: 4 years of experience in a healthcare related field


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in regulatory compliance in a hospital setting
  • Background in Behavioral Health
