Title: Data Research Assistant (P1)

Location: Remote USA

Reports To: Data Manager

The Role:

The Data Research Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and research support to the content department. This role involves reviewing source documents and websites to assess whether current information aligns with established guidelines for use by the Data Department. The Data Research Assistant enters relevant data into the Data Tracking System for archival purposes and also manages, tests, and maintains various data elements in the Content Management System for client distribution. Consistent accuracy in handling data is required throughout these processes.

The Impact You Will Have in This Role:

Data serves as the foundation for all activities within the team. Organizing automotive data is an essential initial step in the process, and this role is responsible for preparing the data for entry.

What You'll Be Doing in This Role:



  • Establish processes for data handling on a per-OEM basis
  • Search data sources such as reference works, internet sources, and statistical records to obtain data
  • Write and present reports on subjects as assigned
  • Product and tool testing as assigned
  • Support Associates and management with individual projects as assigned
  • Draft correspondence to answer inquiries as assigned
  • Other work as assigned.



Qualifications of this Role:



  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Responsible, organized, able to work well under pressure and to excel in a constantly changing environment, time management skills, and proven initiative
  • Minimum 1-year experience with MS Office Tools Suite
  • Very high accuracy and attention to detail is required and must be demonstrated in decision making and entry of information
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Critical decision-making skills
  • Post-secondary education would be an asset
  • Basic knowledge of automobile industry preferred
