Why us, why now?

As the ERAS Data Delivery Manager, you will be the strategic individual contributor responsible for championing the seamless, high-quality delivery of critical data products and reports for the ERAS program. You are a proactive, technically astute leader with a meticulous problem-solving and innate QA mindset, ensuring data accuracy and timely execution. Beyond expertly building bridges across diverse internal and external teams (Product, Account Management, IT, etc.), you will drive continuous improvement, actively streamlining workflows and championing automation to enhance efficiency and strategic impact. You will collaborate closely with a technical team responsible for data production, ensuring output meets standards, timelines, and stakeholder needs.

How will you make an impact?

Data Request & Delivery Oversight:

  • Own the intake, prioritization, and assignment process for internal and external data/reporting requests, managing team workflow and task tracking through tools (e.g., Jira, Monday.com) to ensure efficient resource allocation.

  • Maintain the ERAS data reporting calendar, ensuring recurring deliverables are tracked and delivered on time, proactively managing expectations, communicating timelines and potential dependencies clearly, and anticipating roadblocks to mobilize resources effectively.

  • Serve as the delivery checkpoint for stakeholder-facing outputs, conducting rigorous and detail-oriented QA and formatting reviews to ensure flawless stakeholder-facing outputs and reflecting an unwavering commitment to quality.

Workflow & Systems Management:

  • Lead day-to-day delivery coordination, acting as the architect of efficient delivery by constantly refining intake triage, establishing robust documentation standards, and optimizing scheduling.

  • Expertly monitor, analyze, and resolve delivery risks, bottlenecks, or resource gaps, and proactively propose and implement effective mitigation strategies.

  • Maintain and improve documentation in Confluence, ensuring standards are upheld across the team, and transforming it into a living, accessible knowledge base reflecting consistent team adherence to best practices.

  • Promote sustainable delivery by identifying and implementing impactful process refinements and basic automation solutions, thereby championing efficiency across workflows.

Roadmap Development & Product Sensibility:

  • Demonstrate strategic foresight by tracking recurring or emerging data needs, identifying patterns and requirements that should actively shape future dashboards, reports, and automation priorities.

  • Confidently recommend and champion plans for new dashboards or reporting structures, articulating their value, and overseeing their execution and successful implementation with support from the Director.

  • Critically assess legacy deliverables to identify those no longer valuable and successfully coordinate their retirement with stakeholders to ensure our data ecosystem remains lean and valuable.

  • Be adept at surfacing actionable insights from data usage and delivery challenges, thereby directly contributing to the strategic evolution of our data roadmap.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Engagement:

  • Act as the first point of contact for new data/report requests, serving as the trusted voice for data needs by skillfully translating ambiguous asks into clear, actionable tasks.

  • Collaborate with product, operations, IT, and vendor partners, leveraging exceptional communication and negotiation skills to ensure deliverables are tightly aligned with milestones and expectations across all partners.

  • Proactively and transparently communicate timelines, delivery status, and risks clearly to senior stakeholders, fostering confidence and collaboration.

  • Maintain continuous alignment with the Director on external and cross-departmental data priorities, escalating significant intake decisions or proposed priority shifts for discussion and buy-in through regular syncs and proactive alerts for high-impact items.

Execution Support (As Needed):

  • Run pre-written SQL queries and format outputs during high-volume cycles or when coverage is needed.

  • Provide short-term backup coverage for essential deliverables during staff absences or high-demand times

What will you bring to the role?

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 5-7 years of related work experience

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in data delivery, technical program management, analytics operations, or similar roles, demonstrating a strong track record of overseeing complex reporting schedules, delivery workflows, and team task coordination.

  • Proven operational excellence in data delivery, workflow, and systems management, including effective utilization of project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Monday.com), and a demonstrated understanding of data pipeline and reporting workflows, encompassing the ability to estimate effort for querying, transformation, and rigorous QA processes to ensure accurate scheduling and resource planning.

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills, adept at clearly articulating complex data concepts to non-technical audiences, proactively managing expectations, and cultivating robust, human-centric partnerships across the organization. You understand that true collaboration requires active engagement beyond automated updates, driving deeper understanding to anticipate evolving needs and foster truly impactful data solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed environment with competing priorities, exhibiting a proactive, problem-solving mindset, strong accountability, and an unyielding commitment to quality and continuous process optimization. You take full ownership of the data delivery lifecycle, from intake to stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Customer-centric focus with a deep understanding of stakeholder needs, consistently driven to provide data solutions that genuinely empower them

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in higher education, healthcare, or similarly complex stakeholder ecosystems.
