Position Summary:

Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking an Operations Administrative Specialist to assist the Operations Section Chief in managing administrative and clerical duties, maintaining records, acquiring and prioritizing information, and taking notes during meetings. This position plays a critical role in supporting the coordination of operational functions and ensuring that information flow is efficient and timely.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist the Operations Section Chief in administrative and clerical functions
  • Maintain and organize operational records and documentation
  • Take meeting notes and ensure accurate information dissemination
  • Support the prioritization and flow of operational information
  • Coordinate with other sections to ensure cohesive administrative support
  • Track and report operational activities and data
  • Support logistics related to incident planning and execution
  • Perform general office duties as needed to support operations


Basic Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative role supporting operations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in high-pressure environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools
  • Experience in emergency management or incident support settings preferred
  • Must be a U.S. citizen


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience supporting emergency response or disaster recovery operations
  • Familiarity with ICS structure and terminology
  • Knowledge of WebEOC and incident tracking systems

  • U.S. Citizenship Required: Yes
  • Performance Location: On-site while on assignment (location TBD)
  • Relocation Assistance: Not applicable
  • Clearance Required: None
  • Travel Required: Yes - up to 100% while on assignment


Working Environment:

Work is performed in Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), field environments, or remote coordination centers. Extended hours and travel may be required across the continental United States and its territories during emergency activations.
