As Manager, Business Systems, you'll lead a high-impact Underwriting Operations team focused on driving innovation and efficiency across Individual Underwriting. You'll oversee vendor relationships, rules maintenance for automated underwriting, daily operations, budgeting, business resiliency, and process improvements-while playing a key role in piloting new ideas and supporting strategic projects.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:



  • Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $146,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Lead a team supporting key business systems and processes for our Individual Underwriting department.
  • Oversee process improvement and operational excellence, project execution, pilots and innovations, automated underwriting rules program, vendor management program and support of daily operations.
  • Develop talent and foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to solve problems and deliver solutions.



WHAT YOU'LL BRING:



  • Background in project/program management, business analysis or consulting.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work across teams to influence and implement change.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.



PREFERRED:



  • Previous people leadership experience.
  • Experience in financial services or insurance.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, ADKAR, and business analysis frameworks (IIBA, BABOK, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
