Responsible for patient registration, outpatient scheduling, insurance verification, insurance authorization, denial management, receptionist, Medicare certification/re-certification management, medical records management, phone skills, and other assigned clerical duties.

The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health recommends minimizing the need for employees to manually lift patients, and limit safe patient handling to 35 pounds. All transfers, lifts, and re-positioning will be completed utilizing the provided patient lift equipment as indicated by the patient's clinical profile and appropriate algorithms for safe patient mobility.
