Associate Scientist - Biological Mass Spectrometry

The scientist will conduct analytical experiments to support structural characterization and identification of biological macromolecules using liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Protein Open-Access LC/MS platform and collaborating on mass spectrometry-based protein characterization efforts and biological assay development. The selected candidate should have familiarity with liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry instrumentation, and excellent sample preparation skills. Knowledge of laboratory automation is desired but not required.

The scientist will be expected to consistently work on multiple projects in parallel and be able to adjust to rapidly changing priorities. In addition, this individual must be highly self-motivated, able to work independently in their area of expertise, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, must be an outstanding team player and possess excellent communication skills.

A B.S. or M.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or other physical sciences is desired.
