POSITION SUMMARYThe Operations Specialist II supports the delivery of exceptional client service by managing operational processes, carrier relationships, and procurement activities. This role requires a strong communicator with analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The Operations Specialist II partners with internal teams and external parties to ensure seamless execution of operational tasks, procurement deliverables, and reporting.

This position is located in Green Bay, WI. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with internal teams to manage information requests and deliver timely, accurate reporting to clients.
  • Manage carrier communications, including onboarding, support, and ongoing relationship management for multiple projects, such as client RFPs.
  • Facilitate carrier engagement in business processes while monitoring and reporting outcomes.
  • Execute transactional tasks, such as pricing estimate requests, while proactively identifying and resolving challenges.
  • Analyze operational and procurement data to identify opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and process improvement.
  • Navigate ambiguous situations to problem-solve and support escalated issues from team members.
  • Configure FELIX platform to streamline load processing, reporting, and procurement tasks.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and contribute to ongoing learning and development.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple channels to handle inquiries, maintain relationships, and ensure alignment with team and client objectives.
  • Champion continuous improvement, quality control, and standardization across operations and procurement functions.
  • Support corporate initiatives, including compliance with safety and government regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on relationship-building.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Process-oriented with a drive to innovate and improve workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to team and organizational goals.
