Internship Opportunities


Chromalloy Castings offers multiple opportunities in part-specific engineering with emphasis on dimensional control and manufacturing process engineering with focus on process control. These opportunities employ and enhance a variety of engineering skills and tools, ranging from statistical analyses to on-floor evaluations and trials, as well as coordination & organizational methods.


Engineering interns' partner with company engineers to perform engineering evaluations, solve problems and develop new techniques and procedures. Interns are integrated into the engineering team with similar involvement in meetings, presentations and other day-to-day engineering tasks. Internships focus on dedicated projects assigned to the candidate, with the close assistance and guidance of full-time engineering staff. These positions are paid at an hourly rate with a limit on number of hours per pay period. Housing assistance is not provided.


Position Qualifications



  • Required current enrollment in an engineering bachelor's degree program or another related field

    • Must be in Junior or Senior year of BA studies.


  • 30 hours of engineering core and degree related courses completed preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices
  • Strong data analysis & technical problem solving
  • Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and excellent computer skills including an understanding of standard Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
