ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Obeys all plant/safety rules and complies with all OSHA regulations. *Collects individual customer orders and related shipping documents. *Generates a "pick list" by using a handheld scanner and computer. *Separates various components contained in customer order envelope. *Assembles predetermined shipping containers and places onto filling cart. *Determines product location and the required number of units. *Collects the required items as identified on the customer order form. *Affixes product label to each product piece that is picked. *Places products and paperwork items into the predetermined shipping container. *Verifies all components are placed into shipping container and tapes the top flap of the container. *Shipping containers are placed onto the conveyors to be loaded onto shipping transporation. *Maintains required production to meet customer demands. *Notifies department clerk of product outages, shortages, and stock that is placed incorrectly. *Maintains clean and organized work area. *Performs other duties as assigned. | |
