  • Salary range 005: $81,400 - $101,800 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position).

What's involved in this role:

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist - CAPEX in Eden Prairie, MN or Appleton, WI.

  • Lead day-to-day procurement activities on assigned capital projects, including RFQ development, bid comparisons, PO issuance, and supplier follow-up.
  • Ensure strong adherence to procurement processes, including supplier vetting, scope alignment, and commercial terms.
  • Participate in project kick-offs and weekly engineering coordination meetings to identify sourcing needs and timelines.
  • Drive supplier coordination to proactively manage documentation, logistics, and delivery timelines in support of construction milestones.
  • Draft and manage project-specific purchase agreements under guidance from Category Manager or Legal.
  • Monitor supplier compliance with commercial and technical terms, including warranty obligations and delivery milestones.
  • Escalate performance or delivery risks to the Category Manager and Engineering leads as needed.
  • Track and maintain key supplier documentation (NDAs, insurance, spec sheets, etc.)
  • Ensure implementation of standard work methods for capital sourcing, including templates and best practices.
  • Maintain contract and sourcing records in alignment with audit and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of procurement playbooks, sourcing tools, and procurement checklists.
  • Participate in supplier onboarding and system data maintenance (vendor master, contract tracking).
  • Collect data for spend analysis, project dashboards, and KPI reporting.

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement, supply chain, or capital project experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with capital equipment, construction projects, or industrial services sourcing a strong asset.
  • Working knowledge of RFQ processes, purchase orders, contract basics, and ERP systems.
