Customs Compliance Coordinator

STS Technical Services is hiring a Customs Compliance Coordinator in Haltom City, Texas to support import/export operations in a fast-paced aerospace distribution environment. We're looking for someone with deep knowledge of U.S. foreign trade and customs brokerage who thrives in a detail-oriented, compliance-driven role. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting a global aftermarket aerospace operation.

• Accurately classify a wide range of products using HTS codes (aircraft parts classification experience highly preferred)
  
• Ensure full compliance with all import/export regulations and documentation
  
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless customs processes
  
• Review, validate, and maintain accurate customs records
  
• Troubleshoot trade compliance issues and implement corrective actions
  
• Support Hazmat and Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments as needed
  
• Use SAP and other systems to manage documentation and reporting
  

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in U.S. foreign trade, import/export compliance, or customs brokerage
  
• Mandatory experience with HTS classification
  
• Strong understanding of customs compliance principles
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems
  
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Haltom City, TX
  

Preferred:

• CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) or CES (Certified Export Specialist) certification
  
• Hazmat / Dangerous Goods (DG) certification
  
• Experience in a warehouse/distribution environment
  
• Background in aerospace or aftermarket parts
  
• Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems
