Overview

Are you ready to advance your career and have a direct influence on how we reward and recognize talent? JFG is seeking an analytical and collaborative Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team.

As a Compensation Analyst, you'll work under the general guidance of the Compensation Manager, playing a key role in the design, implementation, and oversight of both base and variable compensation programs that support JFG's strategic business goals. You'll collaborate with business leaders across the organization, providing thoughtful, data-driven compensation recommendations that help us attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Job Analysis (40%) - Conduct detailed job evaluations and analyses to support compensation decisions and ensure internal equity. Maintain and update job descriptions and partner with management to understand evolving job requirements.
  • Compensation Data Analysis & Market Benchmarking (20%) - Collect, analyze, and interpret internal and external compensation data. Benchmark jobs against market survey data to determine competitive salary ranges and compensation structures.
  • Program Administration & Implementation (15%) - Assist in the administration, implementation, and communication of pay programs, compensation policies, and annual review processes across the organization.
  • Compliance & Reporting (10%) - Ensure ongoing compliance with FLSA and other applicable regulations. Prepare compensation reports, audits, and documentation for internal and external use.
  • Project Support & Process Improvement (10%) - Participate in compensation projects and initiatives, identify opportunities for process improvement, and contribute to best practice development within the department.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration (5%) - Partner with HR and business leaders, providing guidance, education, and support on compensation-related matters and driving effective communication strategies.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in compensation analysis, program administration, or financial analysis; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Advanced excel knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to translate data insights into practical recommendations.
  • Knowledge of FLSA and compensation best practices is a plus.
