What to Expect
Supervise a group of equipment maintenance technicians that are responsible for equipment availability, and performance. Perform preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of electro-mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment. Develop and maintain maintenance and calibration schedules for all tools, machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing facility. Perform supporting activities for engineering and manufacturing including 5S and Lean manufacturing activities, material handling improvements, production line configuration, and safety procedures. Manage workload with a positive attitude as a hands-on team player in a collaborative work environment.This person must be able to build upon previous successes and take our Maintenance teams to the next level. They must be capable of collaborating withcross-functional teams and department leaders to address concerns and issues that affect part quality, production efficiency, work cell ergonomics, equipment maintenance, etc. The successful candidate will also have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and management skills, demonstrating the ability to be an innovator and change agent.

What You'll Do
  • Provide effective supervision, training, and coaching to assigned maintenance employees to achieve required equipment uptime, repairs, and production goals
  • Maintain department records and inventories, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate, and followed to maximize quality
  • Monitor employee compliance with safety regulations and the plant's safety program
  • Work with employees to resolve technical and machine-related issues
  • Schedule preventive maintenance to meet production needs effectively
  • Facilitate shift-to-shift communication to align team members toward common goals and communicate all plant-related issues to employees promptly

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Management, Engineering, or related disciplines preferred, or equivalent experience. Equivalent background considered with a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing maintenance (cell manufacturing preferred) and machine operations experience with progressive responsibility
  • 4+ years of industrial maintenance supervisory or similar leadership experience preferred
  • Prior experience with toll coating or roll-to-roll coating equipment is a plus; strong preventive maintenance development experience and familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance principles preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines, be accountable for quality/quantity, manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience handling hazardous chemicals and waste; good computer skills with Microsoft Office experience required; familiarity with CMMS preferred
  • Proficiency in hydraulics/pneumatics troubleshooting using prints; experience with Beckhoff PLC troubleshooting or programming; and knowledge of vision/inspection equipment (Keyence, X-ray, surface inspectors)
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

Essential Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day, up stairs
  • Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs. including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
  • Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: Safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
