Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Scientifically and mathematically test and certify advanced machine learning models, with focus on detailed model documentation for regulatory purposes Design and implement rigorous scientific and mathematical methods to test and certify machine learning models, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and robustness Develop and apply methodologies to identify, measure, and mitigate biases in machine learning models to ensure fairness and ethical AI practices Maintain comprehensive and detailed records of model development, testing processes, and outcomes, ensuring transparency and reproducibility Analyze complex datasets to derive insights, identify patterns, and inform model improvements Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and product managers, to integrate models into production environments Clearly communicate technical findings, model performance, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Requirements: Bachelors, Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with a focus on machine learning model development and evaluation Experience in maintaining detailed technical documentation for machine learning projects Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face Deep knowledge of machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, transformers, large language models (LLMs), and generative AI Experience with bias detection and mitigation techniques in AI models Familiarity with model evaluation metrics and validation techniques Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and develop innovative solutions Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and present findings to diverse audiences Deep expertise in machine learning techniques with strong Python skills Desired skills: Knowledge of statistical methods for hypothesis testing and experimental design Experience in ethical AI practices and fairness in machine learning Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
