Overview
The Contract Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Contracting team by performing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate payer information and portal access and ensuring Tactile Medical is compliant regarding payers' credentialing and recredentialing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Partner with contracted payers to resolve contract issues
- Review the reimbursement information documented in Tactile's systems and audit accuracy to the contracted allowable with payers
- Assist with gathering information on payer contract terms and pricing
- Consistent follow up and follow through on contracting projects
- Manage access to Payer's Provider Portals, making sure that only appropriate Tactile Medical employees have access to the portals. In addition, trouble-shoot any access issues that Tactile Medical employees have
- Complete, manage, and track payers' credentialing and recredentialing paperwork to ensure Tactile Medical remains in compliance with contract requirements
- Annual reach out to payers via Payer's Provider Portals or Provider Relations teams to identify changes to fee schedules. Then, document the fee schedules in Tactile Medical systems
- Manage data in Contract Safe
- Perform all responsibilities while adhering to Tactile Medical, regulatory and HIPAA requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- 2+ years' work experience in customer service in a professional environment
Preferred:
- 1+ years of experience in third-party payer reimbursement (either in DME or insurance company)
- Previous experience within clinical or health insurance
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of health care reimbursement including claims processing, various plan types and payment models
- Must be a detail oriented, highly self-motivated, results-driven team player
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships and maintain rapport cross-functionally and with external customers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and ethics, able to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
$20.77 - $27.26 / HR
