The Senior Director of Human Resources supporting nVent's Global Sales Team plays a key role in fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and innovative sales environment that drives business results across international markets. This leader will partner closely with sales leadership, regional HR partners, and cross-functional team members to design and implement people strategies that attract, engage, develop, and retain top sales talent worldwide. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Partner with SVP of Sales and sales leadership to build and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports business growth, revenue objectives, and global expansion.
- Act as a trusted advisor to sales teams, providing counsel on employee relations, organizational design, talent management, performance, and workforce planning.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Compensation teams on the design and administration of sales compensation plans, and incentive structures.
- Lead organizational change initiatives that drive sales transformation and continuous improvement.
- Coach leaders to build an effective, aligned, high-performing Sales team.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to support effective sourcing, interviewing, and selection processes tailored to different regions and sales market segments.
- Develop and lead engagement strategies to improve sales team morale, motivation, and retention.
- Assess the organizational health of the sales team by using data and insights to inform people and organizational strategy, and translate these findings into actionable solutions.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience with 5+ years in a HR leadership role supporting large, global sales organizations.
- Proven track record to drive transformation and change through multiple levels of an organization.
- Experience designing and administering sales compensation, incentive, and rewards programs.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels and across cultures.
- Strategic mindset with analytical capability and the agility to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $205,000 - $305,000 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual or long-term incentives. WE HAVE:
