Description Due to the ongoing expansion and modernization of network infrastructure across the our clients facilities, there is a critical need for an in-market network resource. This individual will provide hands-on support for current and upcoming initiatives, including: * Support for WAN/LAN modernizations such as the Cisco 9k core refresh and wireless upgrades * On-site execution and validation someone who is willing to operate in a hybrid capacity and able to deploy at our Alabama locations * Troubleshooting and rapid response to network issues impacting business operations and datacenter environments * Assistance with network and server migrations, which require direct coordination with local teams and vendors * Cisco Networking: * Nexus 5k & 9k platforms * Catalyst switches (access layer switching) * Cisco Wireless (5508 and 9800 series controllers) * Routing & WAN Technologies: * BGP and OSPF routing protocols * SD-WAN fundamentals and migrations * DIA circuit provisioning and troubleshooting * Layer 2 extensions and trunking across datacenters * Firewall & Security: * Palo Alto firewalls * Check Point firewalls * NAT, VPN/IPSec tunnel configuration and troubleshooting * ACLs and segmentation strategy * Wireless Infrastructure: * Cisco WLC configuration and tuning * Wireless SSID deployment and segmentation (e.g., Biomed2, OH2APW) * Monitoring & Diagnostics: * WhatsUp Gold or equivalent NMS tools * Packet capture analysis (SPAN ports, Wireshark) * NetFlow/sFlow awareness * Other Platforms: * VPN technologies (Cisco ASA with AnyConnect) DNS/DHCP troubleshooting and management Skills Network engineering, Cisco routers, Wan, Cisco switches, Ccna, Ccnp Top Skills Details Network engineering, Cisco routers, Wan, Cisco switches, Ccna, Ccnp Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
