Baker College is seeking a visionary Senior Content Creator and Storyteller to serve as the primary orator of the Baker College brand. In this pivotal role, you will be the voice that shapes and shares the institution's story, ensuring every message, campaign, and creative asset resonates with authenticity, purpose, and power.


This is more than a content job. You will be a strategic storyteller responsible for crafting narratives that define who we are, what we stand for, and how we inspire students, alumni, and the broader community. You'll bring the College's values to life through integrated campaigns, memorable content experiences, and bold ideas that build both brand affinity and real-world impact.



Key Responsibilities:


Brand Storytelling & Voice Leadership



  • Act as the chief storyteller and orator of the Baker College brand, ensuring a consistent, compelling voice across all touchpoints.
  • Develop narrative frameworks that guide how we talk about our mission, vision, and differentiators across all channels.
  • Unearth, shape, and amplify stories of student success, alumni achievement, faculty innovation, and community impact.



Content Strategy & Execution



  • Lead and execute a content marketing strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and enrollment.
  • Concept and create powerful content across digital, social, web, email, video, print, and earned media.
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure brand-aligned messaging is consistently applied across all materials and communications.


Campaign Development & Project Management



  • Manage integrated marketing campaigns from idea through execution and performance analysis.
  • Coordinate content calendars, editorial plans, and production workflows that support both evergreen and time-sensitive initiatives.
  • Apply audience insights, brand goals, and SEO data to drive smarter content decisions.


Optimization, Analytics & Innovation



  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform content strategy adjustments and demonstrate ROI.
  • Embrace a test-and-learn mindset: continually optimize content for effectiveness across platforms.
  • Stay current on content, higher ed, and marketing trends to keep Baker's content modern and relevant.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field-or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, brand storytelling, or digital marketing. Exceptional writing, editing, and narrative development skills.
  • Experience leading or contributing to integrated marketing campaigns across channels. Strong understanding of SEO, content performance metrics, and marketing analytics.
  • Adept at using CMS tools and digital platforms to manage and publish content.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail. Collaborative, resourceful, and mission-driven mindset.
