Cybersecurity Project Coordinator

Purpose / Profile We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with the cybersecurity project manager, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Essential Functions

* Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and documentation.

* Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

* Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

* Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

* Organize and participate in project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.

* Monitor project risks and issues and escalate as needed.

* Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure it is up to date.

* Support the implementation of project management methodologies and best practices.

* Assist in budget tracking and resource allocation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Ability to recognize potential project risks when working with project teams.

* Strong skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

* Ability to work through resource conflicts and constraints with project teams.

* Ability to build performance metrics based on project performance.

Qualifications Education/Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a similar role in an IT environment.

* Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, SmartSheet).

* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
