BARTENDER | MARQUEE CLUB | PART TIME

The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking professional, high-energy Bartenders with excellent communication skills to serve unique cocktails and exciting new beverages to our guests.

As a Bartender, you will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.

To succeed as a Bartender, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.

Major Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and cultivate return business;
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests within the standards of the Fox Theatre;
• Maintain daily inventories behind bars at the beginning and end of shift;
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas including bar, floor, shelves, taps, coolers, and storage areas;
• Attend all training classes on product knowledge and service standards;
• Other duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:

• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work large or small events with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
• High energy, a fun-loving personality
• TIPs certified
• 2+ years as a bartender in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment and/or equivalent relevant experience

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Be Able to lift 50 lbs

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Successful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check.

About the Marquee Club Presented by Lexus

The Marquee Club Presented by Lexus is the Fox Theatre's premium club space open to Club Level seat holders or annual Members only. Adjacent to the theatre, the Moroccan and Middle Eastern-style club is 10,000 square feet of luxury space that includes five premium bars; and three rooftop environments, including the climate-controlled Conservatory, patio-covered Arcade Terrace, and outdoor Rooftop Terrace.
