The Service Asset Supervisor supports the acquisition, maintenance, tracking, safety compliance, repair, and effective use of service assets across WCAT locations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with Department Management at WCAT locations to support asset-related needs.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets for capital expenditures, tools, and service supplies in coordination with department leadership.
  • Implement and maintain a tool tracking system for company-owned tools.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors to support the purchase, repair, and ongoing maintenance of service assets.
  • Help develop and oversee a preventive maintenance program for both company and employee-owned tools.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and audits for tools and service supplies.
  • Research product options and assist in negotiating pricing and delivery terms for new asset purchases.
  • Maintain accurate records of tool repairs and associated costs.
  • Coordinate and document periodic safety inspections of service assets, ensuring all inspection and compliance records are current.
  • Process and track purchase orders and invoices related to the procurement and repair of service assets.
  • Generate regular reports on asset condition, utilization, ROI, and availability to support operational decisions.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise assigned Tool Room Attendants. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.



WHAT YOU'LL NEED



  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; and / or at least two years of relevant experience supervising or asset coordination.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and independently solve practical problems.
  • Ability to develop and apply a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form and from multiple sources.
  • Basic math and reasoning skills.
  • Strong communication skills to read, write, and interpret communication in written, verbal, and diagram form for receiving and conveying information.
