The Position
We advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love. As part of the Portfolio Strategy Management group within Genentech Research and Early Development (gRED), the Project Team Leader is accountable to the Early Stage Portfolio Committee (ESPC) for development, approval and execution of the molecule cross-functional asset strategy. In consultation with functional experts, the PTL brings together diverse perspectives to create end-to-end comprehensive plans that will deliver transformative medicines for patients. A successful candidate will be experienced in working in a complex matrix environment and demonstrate exceptional influencing and communication skills to move programs forward with a sense of urgency. The PTL must ensure alignment of project plans with overall enterprise strategies and objectives as well as foster timely resolution of program and disease-specific technical challenges. The Opportunity: The Director/Sr. Director Project Team Leader (PTL) leads projects and portfolio related activities across various therapeutic areas including ophthalmology, neuroscience, CVRM, oncology and immunology. Relocation benefits are available for this posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $201,300- $373,800 (Director) and $247,000- $458,800 (Sr. Director). Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
