Job Description:
NY CREATES is looking for an experienced engineer with experience in photolithography and track tool ownership, research, and development for semiconductors. In this role you will understand the fundamental principles and materials and tooling in photolithography through a combination of relevant education and work experience. Some of the job responsibilities include maintaining and qualifying state-of-the-art 193nm and EUV lithography process equipment and developing processes and materials from an early concept stage into a mature element that enables a leading-edge technology. You will interact with cross-functional and multi-company working teams that include engineers engaged in all areas of semiconductor including process development, process integration, metrology, operations, and equipment engineering
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Managing and maintaining the EUV and 193nm lithography tool and associated tracks
- Ensuring proper calibration and performance of the tool including developing state of the art monitors
- Troubleshooting any issues or deviations from expected behavior
- Collaborating with the team to improve tool and process performance and reliability
- Resist qualification and maintenance
Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
B.S./ M.S. degree in Materials Science, Physics, or equivalent Engineering and/or Science discipline AND 2+ years of experience working in the semiconductor industry as a Manufacturing, Equipment, or Process Development Engineer in one or more areas of Lithography application.
- A good understanding of FEOL and BEOL semiconductor integration schemes, in addition to knowledge and experience in logic and memory device fabrication is required.
- Exhibit solid leadership ability, be familiar with SPC/DOE methodologies, and be willing to execute a variety of tasks on short notice.
- Applicant must be familiar with Litho Resists, Chemistries, and applications
- Applicant must have a foundation of process and equipment knowledge pertaining to Litho sector
- Good program management and customer interface skills are essential. The successful applicant must be able to interface effectively with fab operations, process and semiconductor engineering professionals from client companies.
- Knowledge of MS Office, DOE, and yield/defectivity analysis software
- This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks
PREFERED REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ Years Lithography Engineering Experience
- Working knowledge of Si View (MM and SM)
- Applications related to CMOS and memory (RRAM & MRAM) applications.
- Industry experience with semiconductor research and development
- Technical writing skills
- Program Management Experience
