If this sounds like a fit for you so far, keep reading. Position Title: Sr. Insights and Analytics Analyst Company/Employer: Danco, Inc. (Subsidiary of NCH Corporation) Location: 2727 Chemsearch Blvd., Irving, TX 75062 JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze, transform, and interpret large datasets to identify sales trends, evaluate points of sales, and identify opportunities to grow the business via SKU optimization and balanced category assortments that supports demand planning efforts, drive sales, and boost profitability.
- Maintain dashboards and implement data analysis models to monitor business performance effectively and KPI's based on customer needs.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify strategic insights, assess business positioning, and drive data informed decision making.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of projects and develop dashboards or reports to help make data-driven adjustments as needed for both customer and cross-functional teams.
- Provide detailed and complex statistical analysis and data modeling with SQL programming and statistical software such as R, Tableau, Power BI, and/or data visualization.
- Analyze sales performance of the retail stores, monitor the pattern of industry, and collaborate with cross-functional partners, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to provide solutions and boost the business.
MINIMUMEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, Economics, or Finance, plus the following experience:
- 3 years of experience in data analysis.
- 3 years of combined experience in the retail products industry and consumer products industry.
- 3 years of combined experience translating market, competitive, and industry data into compelling storytelling presentations with meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
- 3 years of combined experience digesting, comparing, segmenting and cross-tabulating complicated data and synthesizing it in a way that extracts insights to drive action towards client metrics and goals.
- 3 years of experience in Excel.
- 3 years of experience extracting, transforming, and loading data into compelling demand analysis and providing the solution and recommendations.
- 3 years of combined experience in statistical analysis and data modeling of SQL programming and statistical software (E.g., R, Tableau, Power BI, or data visualization).
- 3 years of combined experience in data mining and analytical techniques.
- 3 years of combined experience analyzing sales performance in the retail stores and monitoring the trend to boost the business.
- 3 years of combined experience maintaining SKU and optimizing the products
- 2 years of combined experience building and assembling PowerPoint decks and presentation content using extracted insights from research data.
- 2 years of experience working with retail Point of Sale (POS) data in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.
- 2 years of combined experience working on small projects and basic analytic assignments.
- 2 years of experience to include working with consumer demand planning and forecasting the usage of products for supply chain purpose.
- 2 years of combined experience working on small projects and basic analytical assignments.
- 1 year of experience in Office Suite applications to include PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience may be gained concurrently.
