The group you'll be a part of
The Facilities Services Manager will partner with department and company leadership to oversee facilities infrastructure and equipment supporting R&D cleanroom operations, labs, and office areas across a multi-building campus. This role provides leadership to the facilities team, including multiple outsourced service providers. The impact you'll make
Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. What you'll do
Key responsibilities include ensuring quality oversight and direction of operational activities such as building and equipment maintenance and cleanroom operations. Demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve complex, ambiguous problems with a focus on timely solutions.Collaboration with GWS Engineering and Lab Operations teams is essential for planning equipment maintenance, upgrades, and replacements.
