The Senior Expert Global Compensation & Benefits is a strategic individual contributor role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs across Exyte's US and NEI regions and supporting global initiatives. This role ensures alignment with business objectives, market competitiveness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The position partners closely with HR, business leaders, and global compensation teams to deliver data-driven solutions that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

1.Regional Compensation Strategy & Execution

  • Partners with the VP Compensation, Benefits and Mobility to develop and execute compensation strategies aligned to the global compensation framework for the US region and other global regions assigned, ensuring alignment with Exyte's business goals and talent priorities.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to advise on compensation decisions including job offers, promotions, retention packages, and internal equity adjustments.
  • Co-design salary structures and incentive frameworks in conjunction with global compensation based on market data and internal benchmarks.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable compensation regulations, including pay transparency and wage equity laws.

2.Global Program Support & Harmonization

  • Collaborate with global compensation teams to support enterprise-wide initiatives such as annual salary reviews and incentive plan design.
  • Contribute to the development of global compensation policies and governance frameworks, ensuring regional applicability and consistency.
  • Participate in global working groups to represent regional perspectives and influence global compensation strategy.
  • Reviews job descriptions and conducts job evaluations in accordance with the company's job grading methodology.

3.Advanced Analytics, Benchmarking & Modeling

  • Conduct complex compensation modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic workforce planning and business cases.
  • Active survey participant and market benchmarking efforts using Willis Towers Watson.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations using Excel, Power BI, or other tools to communicate compensation trends and insights to senior stakeholders.

4.Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compensation practices meet internal governance standards and external legal requirements (e.g., FLSA, OFCCP).
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining documentation and providing compensation data and rationale.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and market trends, proactively recommending adjustments to compensation programs.

5.Stakeholder Engagement, Advisory & Enablement

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to HR, Finance, and business leaders on compensation-related matters.
  • Provide training and enablement to HR teams and people managers to ensure consistent application of compensation policies.
  • When required, represent the compensation function in strategic HR initiatives including talent reviews, organizational design, and workforce planning.

Minimum Required

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of12 yearsof progressive experience in compensation, with at least5 yearsin a strategic or senior-level role supporting regional or global compensation programs.
  • If no degree, minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in compensation, with at least 5 years in a strategic or senior-level role supporting regional or global compensation programs.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Business, HR, or related discipline.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in a multinational organization, preferably in engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with WTW, Workday or similar HRIS platforms and advanced analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excel for compensation professionals
  • Demonstrated expertise in compensation strategy, market benchmarking, incentive design, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead with year-end compensation processes related to annual increases and performance bonuses.
  • High computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office, with proven expert excel skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the capacity to maintain information confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with and nurture relationships with internal and external customers, vendors, providers and various levels of the management team
  • Demonstrated translation of project management fundamentals into daily activities
  • Ability to influence and present to Executive leaders
