WTJU Radio at the University of Virginia (UVA) seeks applications for a Communications & Stewardship Coordinator. WTJU extends UVA's educational mission and brings people together through excellent music and conversation. It operates WTJU community radio at 91.1 FM, WXTJ student radio 100.1 FM, the Virginia Audio Collective, and a raft of education & engagement programs. The Communications & Stewardship Coordinator is responsible for how the public and donors perceive WTJU. They craft and send WTJU newsletters, manage WTJU's social media, assist with WTJU's donor stewardship communication, help plan and carry out donor events, and positively represent WTJU to the general public.

Minimum Requirements To Apply The position is open until filled, but to assure full consideration, candidates are encouraged to have complete applications submitted by August 18, 2025. The anticipated hiring range for this part time position is $34,000-37,000 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is an exempt-level position eligible for prorated UVa benefits. The successful candidate will pass a criminal background check. This position will not sponsor cases for immigration. Physical Demands This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. It also requires being able to lift up to 40 pounds and fine motor skills to manipulate live sound equipment.
