TEKsystems is hiring several Medical Billing Assistants to assist a healthcare client located in Rochester, NY. These positions would be full-time (40-hour work week) and would take place ON SITE. * * This role is a great foot-in-the-door opportunity for someone looking to get experience with a reputable employer in the area! Qualifications -1-2 years of data entry experience preferred -Technical competency of Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel)- basic understanding of Excel -Reliability -Good communication skills -Works well in a team environment Job Description -Working with the billing team completing background and verification work -Operating out an Excel spreadsheet processing new information through patient accounts -If information is missing, they will be finding ways to find the missing information -Part of the position will entail reaching out to current patients to gain information needed for their accounts -Working with paper reports, processing them into the system when updates need to be made Hours 40-hour work week, 8-hour shift 8:00am- 4:30pm Pay $18.50/hour These positions are in high demand.
