Salesforce System Administrator

Reporting to the Salesforce Senior Manager, you will work closely with developers, the junior administrator, and cross-functional stakeholders to turn business needs into well-architected Salesforce solutions at speed. You must be ready to adapt quickly, absorb new information daily, and apply your knowledge immediately. Strong Salesforce expertise as demonstrated by the ability to independently configure, troubleshoot, and optimize complex functionality is required to, be successful in this environment.

This position is hybrid and requires days in office at our headquarters (55 Water Street, New York, NY).

  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solution.
  • Collaborate with various business units to assist in scoping and estimating Salesforce project proposals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative working environment within the Salesforce delivery team.
  • Setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
  • Responsible for providing hands on expert level assistance to other team members, users, and outside consultants for technical issues.
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of deep, hands-on Salesforce platform experience delivering new functionality - not just system administration.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, or other role-relevant credentials).

  • Experience with FSL, DocuSign, DemandTools, or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

  • Proven success in high-change, innovation-focused Salesforce projects.
  • Experience supporting multiple teams or departments in fast-paced, agile delivery cycles.
  • Prior health plan or managed care experience preferred.
  • Extensive, practical Salesforce expertise - confident in configuration, automation, data modeling, security, reporting, and integration concepts.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated capacity to self-learn and master new Salesforce features, AppExchange tools, and integrations without formal training.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional, high-velocity team.

  • Ability to thrive under constant change, managing competing priorities with tight deadlines.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
