Summary:

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of healthcare services delivered under the FLETC Health Services contract. This full-time, on-site role requires a licensed healthcare professional with proven experience in quality control and healthcare operations. The QCM supervises quality control personnel at multiple FLETC Training Delivery Points (TDPs) and ensures compliance with contract standards and healthcare best practices.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop, implement, and manage quality control plans and procedures for healthcare services across FLETC sites
  • Supervise quality control personnel at Glynco, Artesia, and Charleston TDPs
  • Coordinate and adjust work schedules to meet contract requirements without disrupting the FLETC training schedule
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and evaluations of healthcare service delivery
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting from site-level QC staff
  • Maintain authority over all quality control matters and act independently of PM/APM and Clinic Managers
  • Report directly to the Contractor's corporate office, not to on-site management
  • Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, standards, and contract requirements
  • Provide written notification to CO/COR/MLO of any personnel changes, ensuring replacements meet or exceed qualifications

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Shall be proficient in oral and written communication in English.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email and Teams, retrieve reports and provide reports to the CO/COR.
  • Shall be able to use Microsoft Office and the Government provided Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Shall possess the board certification and licensure of Physician's Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Nurse (RN) with the appropriate credentials and licenses with a minimum of three (3) consecutive years' experience.
  • Within the last three (3) years, the QCM shall have successfully managed or worked as the Quality Control Manager or must have demonstrated knowledge of some type of commercial or government quality control plans and possess knowledge of, or experience with, for a health unit, an urgent care clinic, doctor's office, or emergency department.
  • Must have a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing; graduate degree in nursing of related field preferred
