Your recruiter can share more information about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Encova Insurance is seeking a Developer for our Columbus, Ohio or Charleston, WV locations. Initial onboarding will consist of in-office time each week for several weeks, then this role will have the option to be mostly home-based. You will need to reside within two hour driving distance to one of the offices for in-person work as needed for meetings or projects. Are you a Referral? ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Demonstrate continued technical skill growth. Learn and apply code standards within a primary technical domain. Demonstrate continued growth in the use of developer environment tools, ancillary software tools and technology. Demonstrate continued knowledge growth on the application(s) you are assigned. Participate in team meetings and project scrum meetings. Learn and demonstrate development and administrative processes and procedures. Write, test and document code needed to implement approved requests for changes. Test and debug new or modified code to verify its accuracy and completeness. Great at communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. OTHER FUNCTIONS: Assist peers in root cause analysis of production incidents. Develop a true understanding of your role and how it impacts the team, division and company. Understand how your attitude impacts the company and how your actions contribute to the overall success of the company. Through project work and daily interactions, continue to develop understanding of what success means to you, your team and your customers. Grow your general insurance knowledge.
