Summary

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A FULLY ONSITE ROLE BASED IN CHARLOTTE,NC.

We are seeking a highly skilled and business-savvy MM/P2P Functional Analyst to support and optimize our SAP Materials Management and Procure-to-Pay processes. This role requires a strong background in SAP MM configuration and a proven track record of working directly with business stakeholders to understand needs, drive process improvements, and deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users and IT for all MM/P2P-related initiatives.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with procurement, finance, and supply chain teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Configure and support SAP MM modules including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Vendor Master, and Invoice Verification.
  • Write the functional specifications and work with the ABAP developers for the execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending enhancements aligned with business goals.
  • Support integration with other SAP modules such as FI, SD, and WM.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Conduct system testing, end-user training, and create comprehensive documentation.
  • Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancements, and rollouts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, procurement policies, and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP MM/P2P Functional Analyst.
  • Strong experience in business-facing roles with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in SAP MM and Procure to Pay in creating requirement specifications, design, detailing of Processes and in Development, Configuration, solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in configuration, set up and implementation of SAP MM - Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Management and Account Payables Area.
  • Strong in SAP MM Areas of Master data setup and configuration - Material Master, Purchasing Info Records, Source List, Quota arrangement, Pricing Conditions, Service Conditions, and Vendor Master.
  • Proven strong knowledge in SAP MM setup, configuration and of maintenance of the following areas
  • RFQ/Quotations, Scheduling Agreements and Contracts, Vendor Evaluation Process
  • Forecasting, MRP, Consumption based planning, Re-order Point planning, Forecast Based Planning,
  • Purchasing Cycle, Purchase Order Processing, Inbound Deliveries, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, Vendor Return Process, Sub-contracting process,
  • External Processing, Consignment Processes, Inter/Intra Company Stock Transfers
  • Inventory Management - Goods Movements, Put-away strategies, Stock Transfers etc.
  • Proven strong experience in configuration such as setting up New Material Types, New Purchase Order types, Account assignment categories, Pricing conditions, Output determinations, 3 -way matching setup, Tolerances, Vendor Credit Processes, Vendor Down payment Processes etc.
  • Hands-on Experience in setting up and configuring Procure to Pay (PTP) processes on SAP S/4 HANA, Fiori Apps
  • S/4HANA project and support experience.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end P2P processes and SAP MM configuration.
  • Good understanding of the integration process of SAP modules.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Logistics Execution (LE) or Transportation Management (TM)
  • Familiarity with procurement platforms such as Ariba or Coupa.
  • Work experience in supply chain management for retail (an asset).
  • Experience in ABAP programming (an asset).
  • Knowledge of Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
  • SAP certification in MM or related modules.
