Overview

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is looking for a strategic and tech-savvy IT Business Consultant to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role partners with clinical, revenue cycle, and enterprise teams to drive innovation and deliver measurable outcomes.

As a trusted advisor, you'll leverage your expertise in digital transformation, data, and emerging technologies, including AI, automation, and cloud solutions-to align technical capabilities with organizational goals. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare through impactful, forward-thinking solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or enterprise application strategy (healthcare experience desirable).
  • Strong understanding of Clinical Systems, Revenue Cycle, or Enterprise Business Applications.
  • Proven experience leading RFP processes, vendor selections, and solution evaluations.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, ROI analysis, and technology solution design, strategic planning, portfolio mgt, roadmap development
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills with the ability to influence senior executives.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, data analytics, AI capabilities, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
    Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and interoperability standards.
  • Experience with automation, AI/ML solutions, and predictive analytics.
  • Consulting background with experience in large-scale enterprise system implementations or upgrades.
  • Change management certification or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and agile/lean methodologies.
  • Experience with UX/CX design thinking and cloud-native architecture.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT and business leaders to understand goals and deliver technology driven recommendations supporting Run, Grow, and Transform initiatives.
  • Lead development of functional requirements, ROI and cost benefit analysis, RFP creation, vendor evaluation, and solution recommendations.
  • Conduct independent research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to identify value creation opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with business executives, IT leaders, and project teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.
  • Partner with project managers and service delivery teams to ensure successful execution of solutions and track KPIs for measurable outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops, create business cases, strategic plans, roadmaps, financial investments, and strategic communication plans to guide stakeholders through change enablement.
  • Support application portfolio management, identifying redundancies and opportunities for optimization to reduce total cost of ownership.
  • Participate in demand and capacity planning, ensuring services meet business activity patterns and future growth requirements.
  • Integrate with business operations to identify opportunities for value creation and relationship management through technology.
