Aerospace Document Control Administrator

PPG Aerospace is hiring a Document Control Administrator to join our team onsite in Grand Prairie, Texas. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing our document control system, document logs and storage, and organization. You'll be responsible for our configuration controls as well and updating changes for documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be able to manage and electronically file customer documents, specifications and drawings.

• Must be able to learn and administer Product Data Management (PDM) system.

• Must run and distribute process drawings to production departments.

• Must update and keep on file all PPG production standard works, single point lessons and process procedures.

• Must be able to set up and run ERB and NPI meetings on TEAMS or in person.

• Must be able to access customer internet sites, download files and distribute to engineers.

• Must be able to pack, organize and ship documents for off-site storage.

• Must be able to follow Quality Manual on record retention.

• Must be able to handle quality audits from our customers.

• Must comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times.

• Must track & coordinate library equipment maintenance with vendors.

• Support and actively engage in Lean and 5S culture and initiatives within the facility and SBU.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required

• 2+ years of prior document control experience

• Prior change management experience
