Course Production Specialist Senior (Specially Funded) Job ID: 321743 Location: Rio Salado Community College Full/Part Time: Regular/Temporary: Regular Hiring Salary Range $20.61 - $26.80/per hour DOE Grade 111 Work Schedule The standard work schedule will be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm during the Academic Year. 7:00am - 6:00pm during the Summer Months This position offers remote work allowing employees a combination of onsite and work from home options. The expected remote work schedule for this position will be based upon the needs of the department. Work Calendar 12 Months Funding Information This is a specially funded assignment with a projected end date of 06-30-2026 with renewal based on available funds and the needs of MCCCD. Job Summary Use web technology such as HTML to code preexisting materials for online delivery. Assists in the planning, development, testing, evaluation, and documentation of instructional content by integrating eLearning content with the eLearning environment using custom coding, web authoring languages and technologies and/or dynamic course authoring tools while ensuring compliance with Maricopa policies and standards, appropriate regulations, accessibility guidelines and other legal standards. Coordinate projects, activities and initiatives. Essential Functions 50% - Manages learning management system course data for online, hybrid and print based modalities 15% - Troubleshoots course setting issues and makes appropriate adjustments to resolve faculty or instructional requests 15% - Supports faculty in the effective and appropriate setup of technology for online courses including the use of the course authoring system, course settings, external resources, etc. 10% - Plans and organizes workflow to ensure course production deadlines are met 10% - Administrative support of development projects; performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution in instructional design, training and development, educational technology or a directly related field and two years of experience in instructional programs, creating and maintaining web-based online content using HTML, or similar. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Experience working with various Learning Management Systems B. Experience troubleshooting HTML code C. Experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) Special Working Conditions Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate's own expense. May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen. May be required to lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
