Description
The Director of Performance Marketing will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of paid media initiatives to drive member acquisition and business growth. This role is responsible for the full acquisition funnel-from media planning and audience segmentation to campaign execution and conversion optimization. The Director will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing efforts are data-driven, measurable, and aligned with enterprise goals.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Architect and evolve the paid media strategy to meet acquisition and growth objectives while ensuring alignment with broader enterprise initiatives
- Own the performance marketing roadmap, prioritizing high-impact initiatives and emerging opportunities
- Lead media planning efforts, including channel mix strategy, audience targeting, and budget allocation to maximize ROI
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Marketing Managers focused on acquisition and performance
- Ensure growth strategy is full-funnel, beginning with brand awareness and consideration efforts that build long-term equity, and progressing toward conversion-focused tactics that drive immediate acquisition
- Develop and present strategic plans and performance insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Oversee end-to-end campaign execution including planning, creative briefing, launch, reporting, and optimization
- Partner with analytics and finance teams to define KPIs, build dashboards, and conduct ROI analyses
- Own media budget planning and forecasting, ensuring efficient spend and performance accountability
- Deliver opportunity assessments and business cases for new initiatives and investments
- Collaborate with product, brand, CRM, and analytics teams to ensure cohesive customer journeys and integrated marketing efforts
- Manage relationships with external media agencies and platform partners, ensuring alignment on goals, performance, and innovation
- Stay ahead of digital media trends, platform updates, and consumer behavior shifts to inform strategy
- Evaluate and recommend new marketing technologies and tools to enhance targeting, automation, and measurement
Experience and Education Requirement:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in related field of study preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years' performance marketing, media planning, or digital acquisition roles, inclusive of 3 years' experience leading a results driven marketing team.
- Deep experience operating in a multitude of performance marketing channels and knowing which ones to prioritizie, examples incude: programmatic, SEM, SEO, social, native content, affiliate, etc.
- Hands on experience deploying and optimizing campaigns
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of digital disciplines including conversion rate optimization (CRO) and agile methodologies
- Experience analyzing market trends and recommending changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
- Experience leading and interfacing with cross-functional marketing counterparts, including brand and creative, digital marketing, data, corporate communications, and/or automation
- Proven success managing large-scale media budgets and driving measurable growth
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in campaign measurement and ROI analysis
- Strong interpersonal and consensus building skills with the ability to build trust and foster a collaborative spirit with internal and external partners
- Excellent communication with the ability to deliver effective stakeholder presentations to both peer and executive level audiences
- Experience with media platforms (Google, Meta, programmatic), analytics tools, and marketing tech stacks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 | (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR:$130,000 - $150,000 annually + annual bonus
