Join Dewberry's dynamic team as a Florida Energy Program Manager!

Are you an experienced Energy Leader with a passion for growing and expanding business in the energy sector? We are currently seeking a highly motivated Florida Energy Program Manager to join our dynamic team in our Orlando, FL office, with flexiblity to work in one of our other Florida offices. The Program Manager will be responsible for growing energy utility clients throughout Florida, managing project financials, collaborating and managing design teams, promoting growth, and management of project related quality. Projects will include the design of a wide variety of site/civil projects, with a focus on land development projects within the Energy Market Segment. The types of energy projects anticipated are linear (overhead and underground transmission and distribution) as well as site (substation). As the selected candidate, you will be serving as a Project Manager for large, complex projects that require seasoned management skills. You will be involved in mobilizing, energizing, and organizing cross-functional teams for success in winning and delivering complex contracts.

Responsibilities

    Develop and execute business development strategies that drive revenue and profit margin growth.
  • Serve as a client manager for private and public energy utilities.
  • Project management for site/civil development projects including grading design, roadway design, stormwater management design, and erosion and sediment control design
  • Mobilize, energize, and organize cross-functional teams for success.
  • Collaborate proactively and productively with other groups and company offices across the Southeast operating unit.
  • Partner with marketing staff in driving client action plans, capture plans, and support in proposal writing and oversight.
  • Partner with operations and HR to recruit, retain, develop, and grow a high-performing, comprehensive energy team.
  • Motivate employees to support the company vision/goals.


Required Skills & Required Experience

  • BS in Engineering with 10+ years of engineering and project management experience directly related to site/civil development projects.
  • In depth knowledge of the energy utility market.
  • Professional Engineer license in FL is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing and motivating high-performing teams and executing strategies that support regional and national goals.
  • Excellent strategic development, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • A recognized leader in business development and client relationship development.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated project management success for projects for private and public utility clients.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (local travel will be required).
