POSITION SUMMARY



The Range Infrastructure Supervisor will be responsible for performing daily corrective and preventive maintenance at the ACADEMI Training Facility.



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provide guidance and task direction to junior maintenance staff
  • Replenish range supplies and consumables daily to ensure operational readiness
  • Conduct daily inspections of range equipment, target systems, and safety signage
  • Set up ranges per customer and training staff requirements
  • Construct, repair, and maintain target frames, stands, and range infrastructure
  • Perform minor construction, carpentry, and repair projects as needed, including HVAC repairs
  • Paint, clean, remove brass, and maintain a professional range appearance
  • Conduct vegetation control, mowing, and other groundskeeping duties for safe operations
  • Service and maintain steel targets, pop-up systems, and ballistic barriers
  • Operate light machinery, tools, and equipment in support of range maintenance
  • Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or facility concerns promptly
  • Support large-scale training events, live-fire demonstrations, and exercises
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety, environmental, and SOP requirements
  • Other duties as assigned



QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must have a valid US driver's license and satisfactory driver record
  • Must be willing to operate Company vehicle
  • Combination of 8+ years of general maintenance, construction, and HVAC experience required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push, or move objects up to 80 lbs.Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday. Requires constant use of hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is based in a busy training environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Frequent work outside and in inclement weather conditions is required, including heat, cold and humidity. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Must wear personal protective equipment as required by established Company safety standards.Normal business hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, however some extended hours or weekends may be required, and work schedule will vary.
