JOB SUMMARY:

The Copywriter creates compelling campaign copy that inspires connection and drives engagement across all marketing channels. More than maintaining the Company's brand voice, this role actively shapes it-bringing fresh ideas, exploring new formats, and pushing creative boundaries to elevate every project. By crafting content for digital, print, and retail, the Copywriter strengthens marketing initiatives across every touchpoint. Beyond customer-facing work, this role also develops brand presentations, internal communications, and other materials that support and advance the Company's creative vision.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:



  • Consistently delivers compelling, strategy-driven copy that meets creative and business objectives.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of customer segments and adapts messaging to resonate with each audience.
  • Develops, refines, and upholds brand standards and copy guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Independently and collaboratively generates conceptual ideas that align with creative strategy, presenting solutions clearly to managers, peers, stakeholders, and internal partners.
  • Writes performance-driven copy that leverages both SEO strategies and LLM-powered tools to optimize visibility and strengthen audience engagement.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Creative Operations to align on objectives, strategies, and timelines.
  • Partners closely with stakeholders throughout the copy process, maintaining open communication and incorporating feedback with a spirit of collaboration.
  • Manages and partners with freelance writers, providing direction, guidance, and feedback to ensure all outsourced work aligns with brand voice, strategy, and deadlines.
  • Leads in the exploration and application of AI technologies to enhance copywriting workflows, spark creative innovation, and drive efficiency.
  • Proofs all copy with precision to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand voice.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities as needed to support and grow the business within marketing and creative initiatives.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and adapting priorities as needed.


WHAT IS REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or related experience.
  • Two years' copywriting experience in advertising and/or marketing or similar experience.
  • Ability to work under guidelines, competing priorities and immediate requests.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems and apply innovative solutions
  • Computer Skills:

    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Basic functional awareness of Adobe InDesign and Acrobat.


  • Understanding of project management.
  • Ability to travel as business needs require.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Experience with a multi-channel retailer preferred.
