Overview

Provide the FG NOX (SFP) with automation and augmentation support that connects databases and systems to streamline production and requirements data. Any automation and augmentation solutions created by the contractor should take into consideration any SFP modernization objectives including the modernized database applications, NEO CONPLAN support as well as other enterprise activities (e.g., Foundation Digital Twin, Farm to Table and Crisis Response).

Responsibilities

  • Provide embedded GEOINT/Automation/Augmentation expertise to assure continuity of product and service provision to the NSG.
  • Deliver service solutions that integrate best practices to modernize current practices.
  • Connect databases from various sources to collect and assemble information in order to create finished products.
  • Search and retrieve data from several NGA databases, GEO squirrel, Print on Demand (POD) website, Aeronautical website, hydrographic website, etc.
  • Assist with sanitizing classified data from listings before moving to a lower classified system.
  • Gather, store, and disseminate metrics, data, and information between in-house and enterprise system.
  • Assist in the development of a modernized data management workflow for all SFP programs through research and understanding of current SFP data management practices.
  • Coordinate utilization and sustainment of the new database management processes and workflows with database developers and analysts.
  • Ensure new workflows have ability to be integrated seamlessly with our modernized database applications and enterprise-level APIs.
  • Automating repetitive data management tasks.
  • Participation in strategic development activities in accordance with stated NGA, Source (S), Foundation GEOINT Group (SF), and FG NOX (SFP) goals and objectives


Qualifications

Required Skill & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Remote Sensing, Earth or Physical Science, Data Science, or Engineering or Mathematics Training. Requires a minimum of 5 years of applied data analytics and/or data management experience
  • A combination of 9 years of demonstrated experience in any three of the following tools/methodologies:
    • Python
    • ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcPro

    • PostgreSQL, Postgis, PgAdmin
    • Application programming interfaces (APIs)
    • Intelipedia
    • Building algorithms

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with workflow management systems, such as Flowable or ESRI WMS.
  • Understanding of the Customer Requirements process.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Existing TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph

Competencies & Skills:

  • Programming, scripting or analysis skills in Python, IDL, MATLAB, or R
  • Proficiency using GEOINT services including GovCloud, Amazon Web Services, C2S
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite
