Summary:
The Executive Director, Enterprise Applications is a strategic leader responsible for the oversight, development, integration, and optimization of all enterprise-wide applications across the organization. This includes clinical, operational, financial, and administrative platforms with a specific focus on Cerner (EHR), Workday (ERP), UKG (HCM/Workforce), and Salesforce (CRM/Patient Engagement). The role ensures these systems effectively support the organization's mission to provide compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health care while enabling growth, efficiency, and innovation.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as the strategic owner of enterprise applications, aligning technology solutions with organizational goals. Lead the planning and execution of application lifecycle strategies, including upgrades, integrations, cloud transitions, and system rationalizations. Partner with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to define technology roadmaps that support care delivery, operational excellence, and user experience. Lead and mentor a high-performing team of application managers, analysts, developers, and support staff. Manage vendor relationships to ensure system performance, support quality, and compliance with SLAs. Collaborate with IT security and infrastructure teams to ensure system integrity, resilience, and alignment with cybersecurity policies. Drive system optimization initiatives, automation, and adoption of best practices across all platforms. Lead change management efforts related to system changes, ensuring user buy-in, training, and communication are embedded in all initiatives. Ensure applications comply with HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant healthcare regulations. Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to support risk assessments and system monitoring.

Position requires walking, sitting, and standing. Lifting is moderate; must be capable of lifting a minimum of forty (40) pounds. Reaching, handling, grasping and manual dexterity are necessary to operate various equipment. Verbal and hearing ability are required to interact with staff, consultants, patients, and family members of patients. Numerical ability is required to maintain records and operate a computer. Tact is required to interact effectively with employees and professional staff. Logical thinking and discretion required to make decisions in initiating and implementing policies, procedures, and standards. Must be able to read and communicate through written, verbal, and auditory skills and abilities. Must be physically/mentally able to perform job duties as verified by a physical exam by a licensed physician, per post-employment physical.
Qualifications Requirements:
Minimum of10 yearsof progressive experience in enterprise applications, with5+ years in leadership roles. Healthcare experience required,behavioral health preferred. Proven experience leading enterprise application teams in amulti-system environmentincludingCerner (or other EHR), Workday (or other ERP), UKG (or other HCM/Workforce), and Salesforce (or other CRM). Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical risks into business language for leadership.
Education/Training Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field required; master's preferred.
