Growth Marketing Team

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site contract role located in Cupertino or Culver City, CA.


Summary
We are seeking an experienced strategist with a background in subscription lifecycle and engagement marketing to help drive customer growth and retention. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to design, optimize, and execute customer programs that ensure subscribers are getting the most out of their service. The position emphasizes data-driven insights, experimentation, and customer journey design to improve performance across key metrics.

Our Ideal Candidate


  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with proven success in engagement and retention strategies



  • Passion for media, entertainment, or consumer subscription businesses



  • Strong foundation in lifecycle marketing and data-driven optimization



  • Proficient in A/B testing, customer journey orchestration, and marketing tactics (push, in-app, online, and email)



  • Familiar with cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, analytics, design, and operations teams



  • Skilled in developing international, large-scale, time-sensitive projects



  • Able to balance multiple priorities and manage deadlines under pressure



  • Flexible and adaptable to evolving business needs and customer insights



  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to present effectively to stakeholders at all levels




Job Description
In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of customer engagement and retention strategies.
You'll partner with product, engineering, analytics, marketing, and design teams to ideate, test, and implement initiatives that drive customer value and loyalty. This includes building and refining customer journeys, defining geo-specific messaging, and using experimentation to continually improve program effectiveness.

You will also collaborate across international teams, track performance against meaningful KPIs, and provide insights to inform future plans, supporting the overall growth marketing team's goals and business success.


Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred)



  • Background in lifecycle marketing, digital strategy, or customer engagement



  • Experience with large-scale subscription or media platforms preferred

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from:

Culver City - $74.57 per hour

Cupertino - $75.00 per hour


This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
