BIM Coordinator, Aviation

Seeking a new career challenge? Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert is hiring a BIM Coordinator with strong BIM technical expertise to support clients on best practices for integrating BIM data into GIS enterprise platform solutions in Orlando, FL.

This position would review BIM data delivered by other consultants and check and review the data to ensure it conforms to the client's BIM standards. Additionally, this BIM Coordinator could assist in the export, transform and load (ETL) processes of transferring data between GIS, CAD, BIM and other platforms. This position is an on-site position in Orlando, Florida and will be required to report to an office at the Orlando International Airport.

Assist with the extraction and conversion of data between BIM, CAD, GIS and other platforms
• Assist with converting existing BIM models to match BIM standards
• Have a strong technical background which can assist in the design, analysis and modification of BIM data with minimal supervision
• Quality assurance on BIM model deliverables
• Collaborate closely with client staff to deliver BIM data and solutions
• Work with staff to ensure successful project delivery, consistent quality, customer satisfaction
• Understanding of GIS technology for BIM data integration purposes. Assist in the development of new applications, workflows, data standards, and solutions for internal and external clients
• Provide quality reviews of project documentation including work plans thru final deliverables
• Assist the client in data maintenance procedures and processes
• Stay up on the technology and help develop a team that can meet our clients' needs
• Utilize Grasshopper and/or Dynamo/Python scripting for process improvement.

• Excellent communication skills, systems troubleshooting, fault isolation/diagnosis and the ability to read, comprehend and follow technical data.
• Bachelors Degree in a related field and a minimum of 2+ years' of related work experience OR Associates Degree and 5+ years' of related work experience
• Autodesk Revit Architecture Certified Professional certification is a plus.
• Experience with Autodesk Software - REVIT, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map 3D
• Experience with ESRI Software is strongly desired but not required
• Experience with Safe Software's FME is strongly desired but not required.
• Experience in aviation projects is desired but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Quickly adapt and respond to industry changes as well as internal initiatives.
• Experience with Grasshopper and/or Dynamo and Python.
