We are looking for a motivated Digital Production Assistant, Entertainment to be a part of a groundbreaking online news team for FoxNews.com & FoxBusiness.com.

As a Digital Production Assistant in Entertainment, you can handle a fast-paced environment and are creative, flexible, and have a ''can-do'' attitude. You are willing to learn, enjoy collaborating with a team, and are eager to advance within the company.

You will be offered the following shift:

Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM ET - 10:00 PM ET

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Story research

• Assist Entertainment team by pitching stories, cutting videos, and editing photos

• Create and update slideshows to capture important and compelling events

• Monitor social media platforms and forums for the latest breaking or trending news items of interest to Fox News Entertainment readers

• Embrace available AI tools to drive efficiency in the unit

• Monitor live streams and press conferences for use on FoxNews.com & FoxBusiness.com

• Work quickly and efficiently to identify and write entertainment and celebrity content that clicks on the homepage and is picked up by search engines and drives traffic through social media

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Ability to work under deadline pressures with editors and reporters

• Proven creative mind with a great eye for detail

• The ability to identify trending news or viral trends impacting, or being of interest to, readers of the Fox News Entertainment vertical

• Comprehensive knowledge of today's entertainment and celebrity landscape

• Experience using AI, ChatGPT

• Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays

• A Bachelor's degree in journalism or another related discipline

• Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and prior experience working in a CMS (WordPress preferred)

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $21.00-25.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
