Job Title:Engineering Summer Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer. Our Engineering Internships are project-based internships in development, controls, systems, testing, or operational. This role will assist engineering/operations management with skill and experience-level appropriate research, modeling, design, and/or engineering documentation with existing workflows with increasing complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guided by structural goals and objectives you will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects and will be assigned to a technical project in one of the following disciplines:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Industrial Engineering,
    • Electrical Engineering
  • Assist engineers with design, analysis, testing, and documentation of engineering projects.
  • Perform data collection and analysis using software tools such as Excel, MATLAB, or CAD programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project tasks and support day-to-day engineering activities.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical drawings, models, and schematics.
  • Participate in team meetings, project reviews, and presentations.
  • Maintain organized records of work and ensure proper documentation practices.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).
  • Completion of at least 1year of college coursework.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Previous internship or project experience.
  • Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Python, MATLAB).
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards or regulations.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
