We are currently expanding our team and are seeking an Information Assurance Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to prepare, obtain, and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditation for a government off-the-shelf (GOTs) enterprise level suite of web-based applications that primarily utilizes a Microsoft technical stack on primarily Window Server Virtual Machines.

This role will be designated as the system ISSO and develop and maintain the Risk Management Framework (RMF) package, including making entries into the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) system and the Assessment & Authorization (A&A) tool in order to obtain various authorizations (Authority to Test, Authority to Operation, etc.) required to install and migrate the existing operational system to approved government cloud environments at different impact levels.

This is a hybrid position which will require attending meetings or accessing different classification levels of the GOTs system in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) located at Pax River Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, MD and potentially in the Washington DC area as needed.

This position will:

• Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs).
• Work with ISSM and DAOs to ensure systems obtain and maintain accreditation.
• Apply continuous monitoring techniques to evaluate system security posture.
• Ensure security policies, practices, and procedures are implemented.
• Utilize NIST Security Controls and Control Implementation methodologies to the A&A process
• Complete security controls implementation, self-compliance tests, security test plans, and create/update the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M).

Required Experience:

• A Minimum of 3-years' experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Experience with using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
• Experience with evaluating Information Assurance compliance of a system against current RMF Policy and expertise in DoD Cybersecurity policies as outlined in NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53 Rev 5.
• Experience preparing, obtaining, and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditation on similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Forensics, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Information Security, and Information Systems) is required.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:

* An AS or AA degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business, or information systems and three (3) years of overall experience plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree; or B) Eight (8) years of overall experiences plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Required Certification:

* DoD 8140.03 compliance with Information Assurance Systems Architects & Engineers (IASAE) Level 3 is required.

Desired Education/Experience:

* Experience with inheritable controls and RMF experience in the Navy Flank Speed Azure cloud environment is a plus.

Active DoD TS clearance is required. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $44,824.00 to $170,000 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
