What You'll Do:
- Perform the analysis and design of civil engineering components under direct supervisor of a Project Manager.
- Perform civil design calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and site designs with frequent and close supervision.
- Write various reports, technical memorandums, and project related correspondence.
- Assist Project Manager with planning, scheduling, developing, and coordinating project documentation.
- Prepare design drawings using AutoCAD and other civil engineering design and modeling software. Conduct QA/QC of drawings and specifications.
- Perform Construction Observation and Administration related duties such as site visits, field reports, shop drawing review, and respond to contractor RFI's.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the civil engineering industry with civil design and engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of civil engineering concepts, principles, theories, and methods required to plan, design, and engineer site and land development projects to include grading, erosion control, phasing, environmental, stormwater, water, wastewater, site design, zoning analysis and roadway plans at a minimum.
- Advanced knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Advanced knowledge of software used in engineering design and plan production.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant equal.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required
